| If you ever wanted to own a piece of Texas history, now is your chance. David Curlee Enloe built this house in 1852; it is a recorded Texas Historic landmark. The house was originally a dog trot and closed in at some point to create a foyer and a bathroom. The kitchen was added in the late 1930s. There are two wood-burning fireplaces, one on each end of the house. The original part of the house does indeed have the hand-carved beams and a solid foundation.
